We have Mass every Sunday at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM, and on Holy Days at 7:00 PM. We are a new
parish, (Our first public Mass was celebrated January 8, 2005) located at 801 Travelers Blvd. just off of
Old Trolley Road in Summerville, SC. We invite you to come and be a part of our new faith community.

Our services are prayerful, joyful and open to all.  All baptised Christians who believe that the bread and
wine are truly changed by the power of the Holy Spirit into the Body, Soul and Divinity of Christ are
welcome to receive communion.

Bishop Rick's Biographical Information:   (Apostolic Succession of Bishop Richard Kalbfleisch, OCF)

Bishop Rick has been a Church Musician and Minister of Music throughout his adult life.  He studied applied
voice and church organ at the University of Louisville, School of Music.  His work in the church was not limited to
music.  He has over 25 years of experience as a catechist, parish administrator, lay reader, extraordinary minister
of the Eucharist, preacher and lay celebrant of communion services and morning and evening prayer services in
both Roman Catholic and Episcopal Churches. He has many years experience bringing viaticum and ministering
to the sick and homebound of the church.  He is the Minister General of the
Order of Franciscan Clerics Minor,
an Old Catholic religious order for secular clergy.

In his secular life, Bishop Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in finance from
Trinity University.  He is currently the firm principal and co-owner of the Registered Investment Advisory firm of
Lowcountry Investment Advisors, Inc. in Summerville, South Carolina.  He is a Registered Financial Planner with
the Registered Financial Planners Institute and an Accredited Tax Preparer and Accredited Tax Advisor with the
Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation.  He is admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue
Service as an Enrolled Agent and is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the National
Association of Tax Professionals and the National Society of Accountants. He has over 11 years experience in
financial services including tax preparation, securities, insurance and financial planning.  He has successfully
completed the NASD Series 7, General Securities Representative exam, the NASD Series 24, General Securities
Principal exam, the NASD Series 6, Investment Company and Variable contract representative exam, and the
NASD Series 65, Uniform Investment Advisory exam.  

Prior to his work in financial services, Bishop Rick  was a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the National
Board for Respiratory Care for over 15 years.  He was licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner through the
state board of medical examiners in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of South Carolina.  A
graduate of the California College for Health Sciences he holds an Associate in Applied Science in Respiratory
Therapy.  His last positions in the field were Director of Respiratory Care at the Charleston Naval Hospital and
Director of Clinical Services for the homecare company of Thorndale Medical in Thorndale, Pennsylvania.
